Last week, NAV’s manager and XO executive Amir “Cash” Esmailian quietly released a new song from the Canadian star titled “PineSol” via his AudioMack account. Today, Cash does it again with another new track titled “Bag,” a song that’s been teased and leaked over the past few years. Produced by Wheezy and Rex Kudo, the track sees NAV keeping it simple when it comes to his time and attention — if it isn’t about money, don’t bother:

“I used to be sad, now I got a bag, bought a designer shirt, don’t got a tag/

I sacrificed myself for my fans, we was cookin’ dope in pots and pans/

I love the way that .40 feel inside my hand, shorty super bad, want me ‘cause I’m the man/

I love the way your ass feel outside your pants, no snacks, got party packs, just look inside my hand/”

Prior to “PineSol,” NAV also dropped an official new single titled “Turks,” which features Gunna and Travis Scott and came accompanied with a big budget visual. The track is presumed to belong to NAV’s official follow-up to last year’s Bad Habits. The project — titled Good Intentions — is also said to feature appearances from Lil Uzi Vert and the late Pop Smoke, as seen via a promo visual of the artists in the studio:

Speaking to Billboard, NAV explained how the collaboration with the fallen New York rapper came to fruition:

“It’s crazy — one day, he just walked into the studio with one of my buddies. I was actually tired and s*** and pretty much done recording, but we managed to bang out two more songs. That night he told me, ‘I want to do a song that’s your vibe.’ I played him some s***, and he got on that song. I told him, “I want to do a song that’s your vibe.” I’ve never done that drill beat kind of s***. I feel like it’s so fun and there are so many options of how to flow on that kind of beat.”

Good Intentions makes landfall May 8. Until then, you can enjoy “Bag” below.
