NAV seems to be gearing up for a new album release — he’s already delivered the very dope new single — and visual for — “Turks” alongside Travis Scott and Gunna. Now, a new single titled “PineSol” has materialized on his manager Amir “Cash” Esmailian’s music account, and it continues the catchy, melodic raps the Canadian star is known for:

“Slidin’ in the Rover with the demons, big chain, I make everybody see it/

Keep a lot of racks on me, believe it, if we pop your chain, know we gon’ keep it/

All in, had nothin’ to lose so I went all in, ballin’, look inside my stomach, pills dissolvin’/

Can’t stand up, said she want an Uber, so I called it, I’m 5’9, stand on top my money and fuck a tall bitch/

Fell in love with cars, we talkin’ Bentley, I want GT, rappers say they ballin’, but they playin’ in the D-League/”

Previously, NAV released the well-received Bad Habits in 2019, which — including the additional Deluxe cuts — saw appearances from 88GLAM, Lil Durk, The Weeknd, Meek Mill, Young Thug, and more. The project ended up becoming NAV’s first Billboard number one album, thanks to some 82,000 equivalent album units sold. Prior to that, the producer-artist liberated the Metro Boomin-helmed Perfect Timing and his official debut LP Reckless in 2017 and 2018, respectively.

In a recent interview with Billboard, NAV spoke on when his official follow-up to Bad Habits might arrive:

I’m working on it right now and I’m trying to hand it in soon so we can get it out in the next month or two. I’m just over here trying to top the best song. No title yet, because me and Cash are still deciding on it.

You can check out “PineSol” below. Whether it makes it to an official release is yet to be seen.
