Over the past couple of months, Jme has taken over YouTube with a weekly series of creative visuals for cuts taken from his latest album Grime MC. Fans have seen the London star walk through abandoned buildings, get double-crossed during a money heist, and run from bloodthirsty industry executives over hard-hitting cuts like “Pricks,” “Here,” “Nang,” “This One,” and more. Now, he closes out the series with a bang, liberating a new clip for the Merky ACE-assisted “Live.”

Produced by Canadian grime veteran Tre Mission, the track sees the collaborators trading bars about Teslas, Mortal Kombat, Kermit the Frog, and more:

“A-C-E and J-M-E, tryna maintain and stack legal P, but we still kick out your molar, canines and incisors, and your wisdom teeth/

Might see me in your local Sainsbury’s, testing out the dairy-free cheese, snapback, BBK tee, then I jump in the whip with a T, not no Aventador SV/

I’ll tell you like Lethal told me, don’t cop one if you can’t afford three, badman for them? That’s fine, not me, and man brought waps, no ice on me/”

The visual takes on the form of a full-on news station, which Jme and Merky both playing the reporters as well as the various characters that make up the news stories. They can be seen in the midst of battle, running from the police, being hounded by media after an apparent court case, in a pro-vegan protest, and more.

Grime MC is Jme’s fourth studio LP and was released back in November. The project boasts 18 tracks with additional appearances from fellow grime and UK rap stars including Wiley, Giggs, Skepta, and P Money. It’s also known for being released in physical format only, eschewing all forms of streaming — something that the emcee explained as “art” that deserved to be enjoyed on the “street… where it belongs.”
