After seemingly shunning the digital world with his physical-only release Grime MC, Jme has begun gradually delivering releases from the project to internet platforms in the form of new singles and creative visuals. Following clips for “96 Of My Life,” “Issmad,” and “You Watch Me,” the Boy Better Know general liberates another for “This One,” which sees him switch up his style a bit over Deeco’s hard-hitting production:

Boy Better Know, my fee went up ‘cause I don’t do shows, making bucks, just jamming at home/

The Matthew Walker directed visual also stars Mehmet, grime peer P Money and blood brother Skepta. The clip tells the story of a robbery gone bad backwards, eventually revealing that one of the thieves double-crossed Jme from the heist’s planning stage.
Currently, streaming fans are only able to enjoy singles from Grime MC, which dropped last November and features additional appearances from Skepta, Big Zuu, P Money, Shakka, Giggs, President T, Wiley, and Merky ACE. Despite the physical-only option, the album still landed Jme a top 30 position on the official UK Albums chart.
In an interview with SK Vibemaker, Jme explained why he chose to leave Grime MC off of streaming platforms:
In my head it’s nothing, it’s absolutely nothing. It’s just art, you know. Graffiti’s art, but you don’t see graffiti in the Royal or National Gallery, you know what I mean? Graffiti’s on the street. That’s where it belongs… Music’s art. I think that we’ve been told, when you make music, it has to go here. This is where music goes, alright everyone? But, it doesn’t feel like it should go there when I make it.
