French Montana isn’t letting any of his detractors stop his flow of music. Following “Out Of Your Mind” and the dance challenge-ready “That’s A Fact” comes the ArmoTunez and Layzbeats-produced single “Cold,” which features Tory Lanez talking game to any ladies that are listening:

“F*** me like you love me, keepin’ a stack this b***h wavy, talkin’ to me like she pay the rent, this b***h crazy/

Slapped on my pimpin I’m usually like b***h pay me, you can go get another that other n***a hate me/

Out of Miami I’m getting jaded, p***y can’t get no wetter than this there’s no debating, killing that p***y I had to get it cremated…/”

Lately, French Montana has found himself fighting back against others in the industry that don’t think he’s worthy of his success. In addition to a random back-and-forth with Chicago producer Young Chop and an apparent disagreement with Swae Lee, the New York hip hop veteran had words with past collaborator Young Thug, who responded to French’s claim that he would win in a song battle against Kendrick Lamar. While things got pretty ugly, French eventually took the high road after an IG Live conversation with Fat Joe:

“It was wack, and I hate that it happened like that since it’s Ramadan. It’s my second-day fasting. I want to do the positive thing here and stay out the way of trouble ‘cause at the end of the day, me, Thug, and Kendrick is three different artists. I just feel like I want everybody to do their thing. I ain’t got no beef with him. It wasn’t no real beef. It was a miscommunication about something…we all know [Kendrick’s] a goat. We all know he’s at the top of the food chain.”
