This Friday, Tory Lanez will deliver the long-awaited third installment of his New Toronto series. In this year alone, the Canadian star has served up plenty of dope cuts from the forthcoming project, including “Broke In A Minute,” “W,” and the Fivio Foreign-assisted “K Lo K.” He’s also been capitalizing off of everyone’s current predicament via his “Quarantine Radio” stream on IG Live, which has seen appearances from pretty much everybody — Drake, Megan Thee Stallion, Chris Brown, 21 Savage, French Montana, and more. Now, he delivers one last single before the album drops — the melodic “Who Needs Love.”

Produced by Ambience, Play Picasso, and Cherry Beats, Tory Lanez sings about not wanting any “love” from past flames who presumably did him wrong:

When I got these diamond VVS’s on my neckpiece, big pointers all in my bezel, call it my bestie/

I spent a hundred and thou’ and all countin’, money make me happy every time I count it/

Who needs love, when I come around flexin’? I don’t need no lovin’ from any one of my exes/

I don’t need no stressin’, phone call, textin’, don’t kiss me, bitch, kiss my necklace…/”

In related news, Tory Lanez is also in the news for a post-and-delete which saw him apologizing for a past claim of being the best rapper alive:

“Lol yo I’m sorry for the time I said ‘Im the best rapper alive’ .. even if I feel that way about myself. It’s a dumbass statement. And even though I’m always ready to stand behind my talent, it made me look like a d*** head. And I’m truly not that. So yeah. My bad lmao.”

Given that the post was deleted, it’s very possible he’s changed his mind on being modest. Either way, you can check out “Who Needs Love” below.
