Lil Uzi Vert assists Lil Gnar on “Diamond Choker”

The song signals that ‘Gnar Life 2’ is on the way.

Lil Gnar, Lil Uzi Vert

Lil Gnar has just recruited Lil Uzi Vert for his latest single “Diamond Choker.” The new single comes paired with a HiGHDEAS-directed visual to match the song’s energy. Over the Bank Roll Got It-produced beat, Gnar comes in hot:

“The money come in at a fast rate. I’m drippin’ designer, that fashion. Three hundred an eighth but I’m ashin’. Pullin’ the money and I’m steppin’ in Gucci. Smokin’ the rock if you thought that yours was exclusive. Kung Fu, kickin’ the pot. They say that young n***a stay with a knot. They know that Lil Gnar got whole lotta guap. Back, swerve, I’m mixin’ my soda with syrup.”

Most recently, we heard from Lil Uzi Vert on Future’s “Over Your Head” single back in July. After teasing the project for months and months, Uzi unleashed Eternal Atake back in March and dropped the deluxe version swiftly after. Eternal Atake (Deluxe) - LUV vs. The World 2 was a whopping 32 tracks long and saw guest features from names like Chief Keef, Young Thug, Gunna, Young Nudy, Lil Durk, and Syd.

Prior to that was 2017’s Luv Is Rage 2. Aside from his own music, Uzi appeared on Shy Glizzy’s recent project Young Jefe 3, and Lil Tecca’s album Virgo World before that. Lil Gnar’s last full-length project was 2019’s FIRE HAZARD and GNAR Lif3 in 2018. Gnar also linked up with Germ for their quick 4-track project titled Big Bad Gnar Sh*t 2. He’s had a busy 2020 in terms of singles, with “Brand New Boot,” and both “Jungle Boys” and “Perc 300” with Germ.

Aside from his music, it’s safe to say Uzi is known for his fashion sense. In an interview with GQ, Uzi expanded a bit on how fashion became a whole new world he indulged in:

“I always wanted to do that, but I just didn’t have a lot of clothes before. It was like when you come to the last level and you open the door and it’s, like, a whole new world—not even a new level but a whole new world. You’re like, ‘Wait a minute. You’re telling me I can’t buy all this stuff out the store, I have to get archival stuff?’ Oh, sh*t! I’m losing.”
