Today (Jan. 21) saw YoungBoy Never Broke Again unveiling his latest project Colors. Including its Deluxe version, the project sees 20 tracks and a single feature from Quando Rondo on “Gangsta.” Following previously released videos for “Fish Scale,” “Bring The Hook,” and “Emo Rockstar” comes another for “Bring It On,” which sees production from Berge, LastWordBeats, Skeeo!, and D-Roc and is filled with the street-oriented subject matter that remains prominent throughout much of the mixtape:

“Plenty killings in the fuckin’ city, I’m out of action, I ain’t been up in it, said the whole town with that murder business, said them young niggas wit’ them thirties sittin’, waitin’, for to pull another killin’, rap niggas catch this whole semi, fuck ’round, leave his soul different, don’t bring me in no mentions, got this thirty on me, nigga, find out whеre they home, thеy gon’ all get it, I been tryna raise my children, ain’t whack something in a lil’ minute…”

Shot by FlyGuyNick, the accompanying clip for “Bring It On” mainly sticks with the aforementioned drops, with YoungBoy delivering his bars from different locations around his residence. That’s all interspersed with older shots of YoungBoy with NBA OG 3Three and others roaming around a subway station.

Colors is the latest from YoungBoy since last fall’s Sincerely, Kentrell, which was released while YoungBoy was still incarcerated due to federal gun charges. Containing 21 songs (or 23 if you include that album’s Deluxe edition) and zero features, YoungBoy‘s third studio album became his fourth number one on the Billboard 200 thanks to 137,000 first-week album equivalent units sold, following the success of AI YoungBoy 2, 38 Baby 2, and Top. It will not be a suprise if Colors is just as, if not more, successful than its immediate predecessor.
