Midway through this year, LE$ dropped off his Stay Down album, but decided he wanted to fit in one more body of work before the ball dropped. He now has circled back around for the freshly released E30 EP, which boasts an impressive list of features from names like Larry June, Curren$y, Monroe Flow, Freddie Gibbs, and more. To keep the momentum going, LE$ has shared the official music video for “Chrome Lips” featuring Freddie Gibbs. In the Jorgey Films-directed clips, the duo is seen smoothly cruising through the city as the lyrics play.

Last year, LE$ dropped off his Dios project, and shortly after officially shared the visual to pair with its intro track “Opus.” The Dios project was equipped with 12 songs and no features to allow him to be the star of his own show. LE$ took no breaks and wasted no time starting off the following year right. As soon as the ball dropped, he brought forth Distant, his new collaborative EP with the legendary Bun B. The new project sees the two Texans trading bars for six tracks.

Fans of Freddie Gibbs have certainly been enjoying the past couple of years, which has seen the XXL Freshman class alum experiencing a new stage of commercial success. Back in 2020, he connected with The Alchemist to create the critically acclaimed Alfredo, a ten-track album that came with collaborations alongside Rick Ross, Benny The Butcher, Tyler, the Creator, and Conway the Machine. In addition to becoming the duo’s highest-charting body of work to date, Alfredo also landed a nomination for Best Rap Album at this year’s Grammy Awards.
