Boosie Badazz is mourning the loss of not one, but two of his grandparents. On Sunday (Dec. 26), the Baton Rouge native revealed that his 91-year-old grandfather sadly passed away.

“JUST LOST MY GRANDPA. LOVE U OG WITH ALL MY HEART!!” Boosie wrote on Twitter. “GRANNY N GRANDPA N 2 MONTHS #fucktheworld.”

The somber announcement arrives just over a month after the “Wipe Me Down” rapper lost his grandmother. Boosie noted the timing in an Instagram post, saying his grandpa “couldn’t live without” his grandmother.

“[R]IP GRANDPA IM GO MISS U NI**A FRFR. I KNOW U COULDN’T LIVE WITHOUT GRANNY. NOW Y’ALL TOGETHER,” he wrote. “#91years #realsteppa LOST BOTH MY GRANDPARENTS [I]N 2 MONTHS… TELL MY DADDY I LOVE EM [A]N[D] I’LL SEE HIM WHEN I GET THERE.”

Boosie revealed that his grandmother passed away on Nov. 9. At the time, he shared photos of them hugging on social media.

“I JUST LOST MY GRANDMA,” he wrote. “IM GO MISS U SO MUCH IM HURT BRA REAL TALK.”

Boosie blamed his grief over the loss of his grandmother for his back-and-forth beef with Lil Nas X. As reported by REVOLT, Boosie called Lil Nas a homophobic slur on Twitter after the Montero crafter joked that they were collaborating on a song together.

“He had caught me at the wrong time,” Boosie explained on VladTV last month. “I was having a bad day. You know, I was losing my grandmother, I was going through a lot of shit. And you know how I am — you bite me, I’m going to bite back.”

Boosie also clarified that Lil Nas is not his enemy.

“All my gay fans love me,” he said. “I don’t even know where the other hate be coming from… I don’t have problems from gay people when I see them. I really just have problems on social media.”
