Bobby Shmurda is opening up about how he is dealing with his sex addiction after being released from prison.

During a recent interview with Hot 97, the “Hot Nigga” emcee said he was “wildin'” when he got out of the slammer. “When I came home, I ain’t gonna lie… I just stopped like a month ago. I was having like, real sex addict problems,” he said. “I was wildin’. I had to chill out, like last month I just stopped.”

When asked why he “needed to chill,” Shmurda replied, “You can’t be playing with people’s feelings like that. … Real shit, every time you feel you get mad or something… Listen, [it’s] better than drugs, you know. Better than drugs and shooting people in the streets.”

Shmurda is tackling his addiction by working out more and by getting rid of his old phone. “I bought a new phone, threw the old phone away,” he said. “You find yourself wildin’, like every other day you go, ‘Yo, what the fuck am I doing, bro?’ … I’m a Leo, I’m a passionate person.”

Back in February, the “Bobby Bitch” rapper was released from prison after serving a six-year sentence. In 2014, he was arrested on gang conspiracy, gun and drug charges. Following his release, Shmurda talked about how he had “mixed emotions” about getting re-acclimated into society.

“Some days is work, and some days it’s like, ‘Man, I’m home,’” he said at the time. “You know when you can’t believe you’re home? I done came home before, but this time it was like, ‘I’m home.’ You know what I’m saying? I’m home.”

Shmurda added, “When you come home, you gotta see everything and what’s what. What’s this? What’s that? That’s what’s really been going on. I’m trying to see what’s this and what’s that before you move cause being in jail just made me smarter. I used to move off a lot of impulse.”
