Fredo Bang is back on a roll. Last month, he celebrated his recent release from jail with the hard-hitting cut “Don’t Miss,” complete with a matching visual that chronicles his first days back outside. Today (Dec. 3), he quickly follows that with “Get Back,” which sees him returning to the hard-hitting, street-oriented rhymes that he’s become well known for:

“You know I fuck up on that bullshit, I’m on that ‘wish a nigga would’ shit, convicted felon with a full clip, all black with a ski mask, we’re pullin’ up anonymous, we put opps up in the grave, I know my dead homies been proud of us…”

Both “Get Back” and “Don’t Miss” follow the JayDaYoungan-assisted “Many Men,” which made landfall in October. Months prior to that saw Fredo Bang blessing the masses with his latest full-length effort Murder Made Me, which saw 16 tracks with additional features from Polo G, Coi Leray, BIG30, and Mozzy — the project was led by the well-received singles “War Time,” “Bless His Soul,” “Street Team,” and “Gates Flow (Dangerous).” This year also saw Fredo delivering In The Name Of Gee (Still Most Hated), the deluxe edition of last fall’s In The Name Of Gee, which contained collaborations alongside Lil Durk, Moneybagg Yo, Sada Baby, Kevin Gates, and more.

In a past interview on REVOLT’s “The Breakfast Club,” Fredo Bang spoke on how prison affected him:

I think about jail everyday. … Everybody who go to jail, at one point, should get counseling, and I still ain’t got it yet ’cause I be working too much. It really scarred me. I went to the hole and couldn’t tell my dreams from reality. So I just be feeling for people who done been there, like, some people get sentenced a year in the hole. I don’t know how you do it.”
