The track is set to appear on his forthcoming project ‘Untreated Trauma.’

Oak Park’s very own Mozzy pays homage to his late childhood friend Skeem in his latest video “Straight To 4th.” The song is set to appear on his forthcoming project Untreated Trauma, which is slated to officially make landfall on Sept 17.

The new single also arrives with a cinematic music video to enhance Mozzy’s message. Directed by frequent collaborator Suj, the “Straight to 4th” visual gets back to the familiar raw and unfiltered storytelling Mozzy fans have grown to love and captures the emotions and the harsh reality that comes with experiencing and overcoming loss. Surrounded by a support group going through similar grief in the opening scene, the lyricist raps to his late friend and reflects on the difficulty that comes with accepting the death of a loved one:

“If I die before I wake, take me straight to 4th/ I got it set up my kids gon’ be straight for sure/”

His most recent body of work was Kommunity Service with YG and was led by singles like “Perfect Timing” featuring Blxst and “Bompton To Oak Park” and includes contributions from names like Tyga, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, and more. In terms of visuals from the project, we’ve been able to enjoy clips like “Gangsta,” “Vibe With You” featuring Ty Dolla $ign, “Mad” featuring Young M.A, and “Dangerous” featuring G Herbo.

Mozzy can be heard on other collabs recently like Kalan.frfr’s recent “No Love” track and linked up with YFN Lucci in the official music video for “Rolled On.” Shortly after, Mozzy returned yet again to deliver a brand new song and visual of his own, “Neva Said It” and Mozzy enlisted Blxst for his introspective single “Keep Hope.” Most recently, Mozzy appeared on Fredo Bang’s freshly released project Murder Made Me.
