Eric Bellinger presents acoustic edition of ‘New Light’ fan favorites

Today (Nov. 20), Eric Bellinger celebrates his 2022 Grammy Nomination with an acoustic version of the fan-favorite singles from his album, New Light. The freshly released acoustic edition of his now GRAMMY-nominated album includes four of the fan-favorite singles, “What About Us”, “Tired Of Waiting”, “Go Get It”, and “Euphoric.” On the last track, he perfectly encapsulates the soothing vibe of of the entire body of work:
Why (Why?), why you wanna kill my vibe? (Vibe) Why we can’t make it right? (Right)/ I’m just tryna chill tonight, bae (Bae) I (I), I don’t wanna waste no time (No time)/ I would rather fuck than fight (Than fight)/ Release that tension, bring us back to life
In addition to his GRAMMY nomination and acoustic EP, Bellinger made his small screen debut on November 29th, 2021 on the CW’s The Black Pack: We Three Kings alongside acclaimed actor, Taye Diggs and fellow GRAMMY winner, Ne-Yo. The network special is a holiday celebration of music, comedy and dance and features additional appearances/performances by Amber Riley, Tank and Sevyn Streeter. Bellinger also performed a medley of Musiq Soulchild’s “Just Friends (Sunny) and Mario’s “ Just A Friend 2002” on The TERRELL One Million Show to celebrate the acclaimed content creator’s coveted milestone of one million subscribers via YouTube.
Recently, Eric Bellinger tapped in with Kash Doll and Wale for their collab hit “Single and Happy.” He also assisted BJ The Chicago kid in his BJ Wednesday’s series on their joint track “Type of Day,” and also Symphani Soto on her latest single “Just A Moment” while also joining her for the official 2000’s-inspired music video as well. Earlier this summer, Eric Bellinger and Hitmaka teamed up for their joint 1-800-HIT-EAZY project. The recent body of work consists of 14 new tracks, all produced by Hitmaka, and includes just two features from Chrishan and Rahky.
