Generous people often take the shirt off their backs to help other people; A$AP Rocky takes the durag off his head. On Monday (Nov. 1), a fan named Kevin R. posted a video of his encounter with the Harlem rapper outside of a New York City store. In it, he asked for the rapper’s bandana, which he claimed would help to conceal his messy braids.

“I’m fucked up, my shit ugly bro. I’m not going to lie,” the fan said among a crowd of people. “Can I get the durag? My shit ugly right now bro,” he repeated after getting Rocky’s attention. The emcee then took the headwrap off his head and handed it over to the fan, prompting those in the background to cheer for him in excitement.

“Told him my braids was clipped n OG blessed me. Rocky gave me his durag,” wrote Kevin R. He has since posted multiple clips from that day, including one that captured his interaction with Rocky at what appears to be a pop-up shop. In the clip, the fan shakes hands with the star while wearing his newly-gifted bandana. “Rocky such a trill mofucka yo,” he captioned the post.

In another video, Kevin begs for Rocky to release All $miles, a project the emcee has long been teasing on his social media. The album features a collaboration with Morrissey, who has “writing, producing, and contributing vocals,” per GQ. Metro Boomin’ later revealed that he was in the studio with the “Fashion Killa” star.

While there is no official release date for All $miles, the “Praise the Lord” rapper’s Live. Love. ASAP tape is now available on streaming platforms, marking 10 years since it first dropped.

“10 YEARZ IN DI$!!! A CRAZY JOURNEY.
