Harloe has just dropped off her latest new single “PWR RNGR” and made sure to tap in with Mick Jenkins for the assist. Teaming up with Jeff Shum and Keith Askey on the track, HARLOE treats us to disco-inspired vibes while instilling a sense of confidence through bold instrumentals and empowering lyricism:

Bad Bitch in a suit down I really feel like a mood now, you come around and I’m seeing pink for you my eyes roll back/ I wanna jump off the deep end I really need it, so bad/

Who’s gonna love me like that, who’s gonna love me like that like you do/ Who’s got me coming right back, who’s got me coming right fast like you do/ I wanna love you like it’s 4amIn the morning when I get home, you want me on it

“‘PWR RNGR’ is a celebration of feeling strong and confident in your own skin,” HARLOE shares about the song. “Feeling like a teenager with crazy passion and excited emotions, all because you let your guard down. It’s that balance between allowing yourself to be vulnerable but also self-assured. Sometimes it feels so good to let go!” The accompanying music video, directed by Tyler Cunningham, is a celebration of confidence and being in your own power, and references several early 2000s icons including Christina Aguilera, JLo, and Mya.

Earlier this year, Mick Jenkins dropped off his attention-garnering “Truffles” music video, where fans can see an eerie plotline unfold. So far this year, we’ve heard a slew of features from Jenkins. These tracks include “SUPER8” with CANCEL CULTURE and Meltycanon, “Kill Me” with Daichi Yamamoto, “Teriyaki” with Nate Husser, “Sleep” with Markis Precise, “Don’t Need You (Remix)” with Genesis Owusu, and “royal flush” with LOONY.
