Like more than a few other rappers, Soulja Boy’s got a thing for Saweetie, and recently, he let her know as much.

In a tweet he posted on Friday (Oct. 15), Big Draco took some time to shoot his shot at the California rapper. She previously dated Quavo before splitting with him earlier this year.

“What a Nigga gotta do to have @Saweetie,” tweeted Soulja, who’s dropping his new video game this coming January. Thus far, Saweetie hasn’t responded.

Soulja’s tweet arrived just days after he released “Squid Game,” a song that takes advantage of the latest Netflix craze. For the track, he lets loose casual gunplay over music from the score of the show.

“Gang, gang .762 hit all in the membrane/Get to popping shit like the ‘Squid Game’/Send a hundred shots, send ‘em in sync/They run up the racks and got rich again/Don’t hit on them block and then spin again,” spits the innovative rapper.

Before releasing that song, Soulja popped out to speak to REVOLT. During the conversation, which unfolded on “Off Top,” Soulja breaks down being in the studio with Diddy and the tactics he used to propel himself to stardom early on.

“I was looking at the charts and just looking at the most downloaded songs on the platform,” Soulja recalled. “And it was like, whatever was hiding at the top — I think it was like 50 Cent and Britney Spears off the top of my head — and I remember I just uploaded like my first couple of songs. One of those was ‘Crank That,’” the rapper explained. “And I just renamed it ‘50 Cent – In The Club’ and like Britney Spears — whatever her song was — whoever else was on the top ten chart. Then like, couple of days went by and it was like 25,000 downloads. 50,000 downloads. It just kept going — 100,000 downloads, 200 — and it got into the millions to where I was on charts too.”

While those weren’t the most honest moves at the time, it’s clear that they worked. So much so that people like Saweetie might just notice the tweet he’s just dedicated to her. See Soulja Boy’s Saweetie tweet below.
