“Eminem made you,” Ja said about 50 Cent after last night’s Verzuz battle.

The beef between 50 Cent and the Murder Inc. Records crew seems to be alive and well after the rapper and label co-founder Irv Gotti traded shots during last night’s (Sept. 14) Verzuz battle between Ja Rule and Fat Joe. 50 Cent became a trending topic on Twitter throughout the event, causing Gotti to respond on Instagram.

“All y’all talking that 50 shit. All good. He got beat up, stabbed up. Shot up. Sued us. That’s all I’m gonna say,” he wrote. In 2016, Gotti alleged that 50 filed a lawsuit against him and several others after his violent altercation with Murder Inc. artists in 2000.

“Your hero ain’t what you think he is. Period and facts,” he added.

50 Cent responded to Gotti in several Instagram posts on Wednesday morning (Sept. 15), claiming his beef with Murder Inc. put the label “out of business.”

“I put they whole label out of business, f_ck with me if you want to,” he wrote in one post. “I would stay out of my way if I wasn’t me. LOL.”

After battling it out against Fat Joe last night, Ja Rule has now responded to the situation. On Wednesday morning, the “Mesmerize” rapper spoke exclusively with radio host Big Tigger and called out 50 directly.

Eminem made you, created you. You’re nothing without that [expletive] white boy,” he said about 50. “Stop it.”

Ja Rule also denied 50’s claims that he alone caused Murder Inc.’s demise and explained that it was the 2003 FBI investigation into the record label and federal seizure of its assets that led to its downfall.

“On top of [the investigation], I’m battling 17 rappers,” Ja said, referring to 50 Cent’s G-Unit crew. “It wasn’t like I was just battling homeboy.”
