“I believe this [might] be bigger than [the] original. Can’t wait,” he tweeted.

Bow Wow is planning to release a continuation to the 2002 movie Like Mike.

During a Twitter Q&A session on Wednesday (Sept. 8), the “Shorty Like Mine” emcee revealed that he has linked back up with the film’s original director and they are coming up with ideas to get a follow-up in motion. “We are working on a Like Mike sequel,” he tweeted. “It’s all just ideas as of now. But yes, we have been talking. So far so good.”

A fan then suggested that Shai Moss, Bow’s daughter, should star in the movie. He replied, “Shhhhh….. another gem ima drop. It won’t be called LIKE MIKE. But LIKE someone. We are taking our time with this one. I believe this [might] be bigger than [the] original. Can’t wait.”

Bow has not revealed whether or not he will star in the upcoming film or be behind the cameras. Back in June, the “Let Me Hold You” rapper revealed that he no longer wanted to rap and wanted to focus on films.

Following his epic Verzuz battle against Soulja Boy, Bow took to Instagram to explain that his hard drive had crashed a few minutes before the show was slated to begin. “Y’all niggas see why I don’t be wanting to rap no motherfucking more?” he said. “This is exactly why I’m at peace. I’m at peace man. I like hosting my shit, making more money than half of y’all rap niggas. I like doing my podcast.”

He added, “This shit right here is the number one reason why a nigga don’t wanna rap no more. This is the reason why. I do movies, and I do so much other shit. It’s because rap shit brings stress….I don’t fuck with rap. I hate doing this shit.”

However, Bow is set to headline the Millennium Tour alongside Omarion. The 27-city tour will kick off on Oct. 1 in Los Angeles and will wrap up on Nov. 26 in Las Vegas.
