The single sees Shepherd celebrating his latest feature in ‘Space Jam: A New Legacy.’

Currently, Miami, Florida rising star Shepherd is still flying high off of his 2019 single “Gametime” being featured in the Lebron James-led vehicle Space Jam: A New Legacy. In celebration of such an achievement, Shepherd hosted a film viewing party with family, friends, and supporters, where he revealed his feelings on his song’s inclusion:

“A year ago I got the contract, and they’re like, ‘but it’s not confirmed … let’s see what happens.’ and, uh, by God’s grace two months ago, I got the confirmation … And I thought about what this means, and it’s just like, God allowed a Christian hip hop song to be placed in a movie that’s gonna be played globally. And for me, I do not take that lightly.”

Before September arrived, Shepherd decided to reveal footage of that very moment in his new video for “First Of Many,” a victory lap of sorts that sees him and collaborator George.Rose ready to keep the opportunities and wins coming tenfold:

“I drop a song and its moving, I got a song in a movie, I want confetti all over, I’m thanking God for the movement, came from a family of immigrants, re-writing history, ask me to prove it, hope in yeshua, no way that we losing…”

Since “Gametime” was released, a couple of remixes surfaced — one of which featured none other than NBA great/rap legend Shaquille O’Neal, further pushing Shepherd’s career trajectory into the upper echelon. Another “Latin Remix” of the inspirational release saw Shepherd alongside Tommy Royale and Niko Eme. Prior to that, the Cuban and Costa Rican talent has liberated other top quality drops like “Que Rica” with Rockie Fresh and “Clocked In” with Aklesso and Derek Minor. Presumably, we’ll be getting plenty more from Shepherd much sooner than later.

In the meantime, check out both “First Of Many” and “Gametime.”
