The Butcher coming!

If it’s one thing that Benny The Butcher will always do, it’s deliver — and he does it so well. Coming from a successful year with his Burden Of Proof album (executive produced by Hit-Boy) to his Da Respected Sopranos Gangsta Grillz mixtape with DJ Drama, to a number of stellar features, the Buffalo rapper continues to apply pressure every chance he gets. While we’re in a time where the most focus is on actual lyricism and such, the COVID-19 pandemic was the perfect time for Benny to start getting his flowers. To capitalize on his ferocious run, he and the wave provider himself, Harry Fraud, linked up for the release of their joint EP The Plugs I Met 2 — one of the hottest projects of 2021. Keeping his momentum going, the Buffalo rapper is back with the re-release of his The Plugs I Met project.

In recent times, NFT’s (non-fungible tokens) have changed the game in every aspect. If you are not familiar with the term, “Non-fungible” more or less means that it’s unique and can’t be replaced with something else. For example, a bitcoin is fungible — if you trade one for another bitcoin, and you’ll have exactly the same thing. A one-of-a-kind trading card, however, is non-fungible. If you traded it for a different card, you’d have something completely different. With cryptocurrency taking over the world slowly but surely, rap artists are making strategic moves by releasing certain projects as NFT’s and Benny The Butcher is the latest artist to hop on board.

In a recent tweet posted by The Butcher, he told no lies when he stated that he’s still 10 steps ahead of the game. Take it how you want, but the Griselda rapper is one savvy business oriented artist and this NFT is just the beginning of more to come.
