So much for retirement. This past weekend, Young Dolph announced that he will soon be dropping off the compilation project PAPER ROUTE iLLUMINATi — a 23-track offering with fellow Paper Route artists Key Glock, Joddy Badass, Kenny Muney, Snupe Bandz, Paper Route Woo, and Big Moochie Grape. In addition to the big reveal, fans were also treated to a new single from said project titled “Blu Boyz,” a Shawty Fresh and BandPlay-produced effort that sees Dolph, Glock, and Snupe rapping about their financial successes:

“I got a pocket full of blue boys, Amiri jeans and some new Jordans, got a duffle bag full of blue boys, just left the car lot, got a new toy, I got a backpack full of blue boys, on the way to Eliantte in New York, man, I got a trunk full of blue boys, ridin’ through the Bay, bumpin’ Too $hort, yeah, I got a pocket full of blue boys, I got them old hundreds and them new boys…”

“Blu Boyz” follows last month’s “Nothing To Me,” which we now know will also appear on the forthcoming release. Prior to that, March saw Glock and Dolph liberate the second installment of their Dum and Dummer series, which contained big singles like “Case Closed,” “Aspen,” “Sleep With The Roaches,” “Penguins,” “Rain Rain,” and “A Goat & A Dolphin.”

Dolph’s latest solo LP — Rich Slave, his fifth — made landfall back in August with 16 cuts and contributions from Glock, G Herbo, and Megan Thee Stallion. In addition to landing Dolph at the top of Billboard’s US Independent Albums chart, Rich Slave also peaked at number four on the Billboard 200 thanks to 65,000 album equivalent units sold. The top of this year saw a deluxe edition of the project with eight additional cuts.

Press play on “Blu Boyz” and the aforementioned album trailer below. PAPER ROUTE iLLUMINATi drops this Friday (July 30).
