This time next week (July 23), Blueface will step into the squared circle to fight social media star Kane Trujillo for the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship — if anything, it would surely be an entertaining sight. During a quick-strike call with TMZ, he explained his overall experience (or lack thereof) and what he’s doing to prepare:

“I never boxed. I’m a gang member, so I just fight a lot … I’ve only been eating grilled and baked stuff lately. Yeah, I’m on a diet and everything. I ain’t been smoking, drinking, nothing.”

Perhaps in preparation for the big event, the California talent has decided to drop off a new single titled “TikTok,” a PRESSPLAYY-produced cut that sees him instructing girls to dance for the viral platform over some serious west coast bounce:

“If you got that shit on, take it off, bitch, vibe to the song, from the left to the right, from the front to the back then it’s back to the right, to the left, mop it up, clean it up, grey cup, do your stuff, take a sip then you dip with the hip-hop, put this on TikTok…”

“TikTok” follows relatively recent drops like “BGC” with DDG and “Patience” with Calboy. Last year, Blueface blessed the masses with his official debut LP Find A Beat, a humorously titled body of work that saw 16 tracks with additional features like Gunna, Lil Baby, Polo G, DaBaby, Ambjaay, NLE Choppa, Stunna 4 Vegas, Jeremih, and YBN Nahmir. 2020 also saw Blueface reload his 2018 breakthrough mixtape Famous Cryp, which — following the upgrade — boasted 22 cuts with a slew of contributions from heavyweights like Cardi B, Snoop Dogg, YG, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, 03 Greedo, Sada Baby, Moneybagg Yo, and DJ Kay Slay.
