Money Man makes his return and tapped in with Young Dolph for the assist. The two teamed up for Money Man’s latest single “Whole Lotta,” which opens up with some ominous piano chords then delivers the hard bars as expected. On the track, Money Man is in charge of keeping the energy up for the first half of the song:
Whole lotta, whole lotta SB in this paper, whole lotta, whole lotta pressure and new flavors/ Whole lotta, whole lotta sticks, I don’t do safety, the whole lotta horses in here, I did two-eighty/ She wanna be my lil’ buddy, my throat baby
She pulled his cell, she just sent out his location/ This shit that pack, I do not do negotiatin’/ My circle small ‘cause these n***as be two-faced/ Whole lotta, whole lotta foreigns in my name/ Slid on that boy, we just hit him, got good aim
In 2020, Money Man kept himself busy by releasing two pandemic-inspired projects. First up was Epidemic, and then shortly after he followed up with State of Emergency. He then doubled down later on in the summer with the deluxe version of Epidemic, adding on 12 new tracks and features from names like Jackboy, YFN Lucci, Lil Baby, and TEC.
Young Dolph has definitely been active in recent months. This past March, he and his Paper Route artist Key Glock dropped off their joint release Dum and Dummer 2, featuring current hits like “Aspen,” “RAIN RAIN,” and “Penguins.” The project put their chemistry front and center, as it totaled a lengthy 20 tracks but had no features and only consisted of collab tracks between the two. His last solo effort, Rich Slave, made landfall last August with 16 dope cuts — the top five body of work was then re-released early this year in deluxe format, adding on eight more songs for fans to enjoy.
