On one hand, for quite some time now, YG has grown as a staple in west coast rap and for good reason. The amount of bops he’s had his fingerprints on through recent times will indeed stand the test of time in years to come. On the other hand, Mozzy is actively proving his own worth to west coast rap as well. With projects like 1 Up Top Ahk, Gangland Landlord, Beyond Bulletproof and more under his belt, the Sac-Town rapper is currently slept on unfortunately but that will certainly change in due time. Today, the Bompton and Oak Park generals link up to deliver their infectious joint project Kommunity Service and it’s solid from top to bottom.

Fans everywhere were over elated to find out about the album’s arrival once YG & Mozzy delivered their single “Perfect Timing” with fellow west coast artist Blxst. Switching it up from the street anthem in “Bompton to Oak Park”, the duo slows it down by weaving in Blxst’s mesmerizing vocals into the track as they reminisce on humble beginnings, working their way up, and finding success in the midst. The video directed by Suj takes the trio to Cabo for five days of blissful beach views.

In regards to it’s creative cover art, YG & Mozzy reenacts the 1998 cult classics ‘Belly’ movie poster/cover where they pose almost exactly like Nas and the late, great DMX — wearing all white suits along with red bandana-print ties for added flavor.

Laced with a total of 10 records (a pretty solid number due to majority of y’all attention spans being horrible these days), YG & Mozzy call on some thorough features for contributions: G Herbo, Young M.A, Ty Dolla $ign, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Tyga, Blxst and more.

It’s a beautiful day today so make sure you press play and catch the right vibes!
