Morray shares new live performance of “Quicksand” and “Can’t Use Me”
The songs are both taken from his recent ‘Street Sermons’ project.
At the end of April, Morray finally unleashed his Street Sermons mixtape. To celebrate, Morray stopped by Jimmy Kimmel to deliver a live performance of “Quicksand,” the viral hit that changed the course of his career, and “Can’t Use Me.” The performance starts off in a dramatically dimly lit setting, complete with a car in the background that is up in flames. After soulfully starting off with “Quicksand” for the first half, he seamlessly transitions into “Can’t Use Me” halfway through:

After dropping off his emotional “Big Decisions” and “Kingdom” cuts within the last few months, Morray was finally ready for his big debut. Street Sermons marks Morray’s first body of work under Interscope Records by way of Moe Shalizi’s Pick Six imprint, a deal that was officially announced last month.
In the aformentioned “Kingdom” visual, Morray dreams of the lifestyle he longs to provide for his loved ones one day, and he hopes this next chapter of his life will take him there. Morray has been waiting for his moment for years, and his life changed once his viral hit “Quicksand” took off, and rightfully so. The melodic track garnered co-signs from the likes of DaBaby, J. Cole, Rick Ross, G Herbo, Tay Keith, Marshmello, Yella Beezy. and Southside.
