TM88, Southside and Rich The Kid have assembled an all-star cast for their newest single “Breakin’ You Off,” which features Ty Dolla $ign and 2 Chainz. The highly anticipated song has been on fans’ radars as it originally leaked last year. On his verse, 2 Chainz comes through with his signature flow:

“My shortie a dime, won’t cost me a dime. I’m breaking, I’m breaking, I’m breaking. If I need your respect, I’ma take it. The water drip to my ankles. My hair’s longer than bankrolls. You know that I’m up on my papers. Woo, please, geez, tomatoes. Another new car on my ankles, take you to see the Lakers. Never reply to fakers, I’m realer than dreads on Jamaicans.”

GRAMMY Award-nominated producer and Taylor Gang affiliate TM88 is known for his collaborations with Lil Uzi Vert, Young Thug, Future, Juicy J, Gunna, Moneybagg Yo, Wiz Khalifa, Project Pat, Lil Yachty, Valee and more. This summer, he dropped the Calboy and Slatt Zy-supported song “War Stories” and “Blue Jean Bandit” prior to that which featured assists from Moneybagg Yo, Future, and Young Thug. This year has also clamed his collab with MadeinTYO, “Tokyo Nights,” the producer’s song with Smokepurpp “RR.”

In an interview from earlier this year, TM88 expanded a bit on his process behind making beats for Lil Uzi:

“When I make my beats, I try to hit the soul, where the beat talks to you. The sound that I put in there, it’s very melodic. The guitar that’s in there, it speaks to you. He wanted the same drum lines, and I wanted to give him what he wanted, but I also didn’t want to give the fans the same sound. So once he asked me, we got off FaceTime, I made the beat, and 15 minutes later, I sent the song. He was like, ‘This shit is crazy.’”
