This past weekend, Lil Yachty dropped off his latest project Michigan Boy Boat, which sees 14 tracks and — as the title suggests — additional appearances from a wealth of Detroit and Flint artists, including Sada Baby, Babyface Ray, Veeze, Icewear Vezzo, and Tee Grizzley. Since then, the Atlanta star has decided to bless fans with a visual from said release for “Stunt Double, which features an assist from Rio Da Yung OG.

“Stunt Double” sees production from BEATSBYSAV and shows the collaborators rapping about past struggles and current successes:

“When I was young, used to drop shit, now I’m doin’ better, my bitch know I’m half way rich, she let me do whatever, I’ll hit you with twenty pounds if you moved in quicker, I got a clip in the PLR longer than a school semester, me and Mikey slid on some niggas out a blue Tesla, dog took off runnin’, got away, but I let Scoob catch him/”

Shot by AMD Visuals, the accompanying clip shows Yachty and Rio mobbing heavy through what’s presumed to be the city of Flint, Rio’s hometown. The duo stroll around a liquor store, hit the block while with their respective crews, and more.

Unfortunately, the release of “Stunt Double” marks a bittersweet moment for Rio Da Yung OG, who has been quickly rising through the ranks as a hip hop frontrunner in his own right. Back in January, Rio was sentenced to five years in prison over gun and trafficking charges from 2019. Via a past Instagram story, he spoke on his unfortunate-but-temporary fate:

“I’m doing 5 years for some shit I ain’t know was going on but I take full responsibility cause I know what comes wit this street shit … Thank you god for putting me through this situation cause it really opened my eyes and show me how to deal wit people.”
