When it comes to the music industry, DJ Drewski is easily one of its hardest working inhabitants. Having jumped into the deep end as a VEVO brand ambassador and standout cast member on “Love & Hip Hop NY,” the New Jersey talent is currently spinning and breaking records over at HOT 97. More recently, he’s showing listeners and viewers alike that he can craft a body of work on his own as well.

Following infectious singles like “Water” and “2020 Vision,” DJ Drewski unveils his new album titled Seat At The Table, which contains 13 tracks and a slew of appearances from A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Trap Manny, Sheff G, Sleepy Hallow, Fivio Foreign, Rah Swish, Coi Leray, Sada Baby, Calboy, Jay Critch, Desiigner, Maliibu Miitch, DreamDoll, Ruby Rose, and more.

Another standout from the project is its closing cut “Nights Like This,” which sees Masio Gunz and Bizzy Banks flexing wealth and women over production from Hitmaka:

“Shawty treat me like I’m famous, and she love the way a nigga jump up out that Range, steady on the road, I be tryna get them faces, don’t wanna see you changin’, be on the same page, I ain’t tryna bring you pain, girl you know just how to slide, slide with me, you just gotta call my phone and up it, it ain’t no worry, know when you ridin’, we on timing…/”

In a recent interview with REVOLT, Drewski spoke on what it took to create Seat At The Table, especially in the midst of a COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent quarantine:

….I [was] trying to make records and then still deejay on the radio, deejay in the club, and move around so much that I couldn’t really focus 100%. … It was just getting dragged out. During a pandemic, the clubs are closed. Now, I got nothing but time to shift my energy and focus on the project.”
