Although he’s put out quality singles and cohesive projects, Deante Hitchcock rose to popularity through his authentic freestyles from the front seat of his whip. He has always kept that same spirit alive, and he recently dropped his take on Lil Wayne’s classic “Let The Beat Build.” He’s now back with his latest offering, tackling Drake’s newest smash hit “What’s Next.” Over the triumphant beat, Deante lets his bars do the talking:

I’ma go hard as my dick, told her fuck that viagra, this hard as it get/ Talk like I’m already rich. My flow so off the hook, got these rap n***as callin’ it quits/ Gotta watch out for the run I’m finna go on. N***as feel like they ballin’ with Vick. Before we met, I just left happy hour lil bitch, that just mean I was already lit/ Catchin’ plays like that boy Larry Fitz, got the world in my hand/ End this shit with the ball of a fist. Folk don’t be there when you cookin’/ But when the food ready, they wanna be all in the mix

Last year, Deante dropped of the deluxe version of his BETTER album. The initial BETTER project included guest features from names like JID, Young Nudy, 6LACK, Miguel, and St. Beauty. The body of work doubled in length as Deante unveiled a two-disc deluxe version (20-tracks long) with additional features from Kenny Mason, Reason, Ro James, Jaelspeaks, and Guapdad 4000. Before that, Hitchcock dropped off his projects Just A Sample 2 and Good in 2019 and 2016, respectively.

Although Deante has several notable guest verses under his belt, there’s still one he will always have his eye on. In an interview with REVOLT from earlier this year, Deante Hitchcock shared one of his most coveted collaborations:

I want to collab with Young Thug. That’s the first celebrity feature I want. That’s my dream feature. What would it be about? I don’t know. You get a feature from Thug, you might get six different records. He’s on his melodic s**t right now, but I need either “About The Money” Thug or “Harambe” Thug.
