Although he’s put out quality singles and cohesive projects, Deante Hitchcock rose to popularity through his authentic freestyles from the front seat of his whip. He keeps that same spirit alive with his latest drop, a freestyle over “Let The Beat Build.” Over the Lil Wayne classic beat, Deante lets his bars do the talking:

Straight off the top widdit, rock Balenciaga’s like Scott Disick I’m not trippin’/ Nah forreal these shoes ain’t got no strings, I’m not trippin’/ Better know it’s the goat, if they mention my name my n***a, I’m not Pippin/ I just be reminiscing, knew dudes who was out here robbin’ hoods before them stocks hittin’/ Hearin’ all them pops going off at night but most out pops was missin’

Last year, Deante dropped of the deluxe version of his BETTER album. The initial BETTER project included guest features from names like JID, Young Nudy, 6LACK, Miguel, and St. Beauty. The body of work doubled in length as Deante unveiled a two-disc deluxe version (20-tracks long) with additional features from Kenny Mason, Reason, Ro James, Jaelspeaks, and Guapdad 4000. Before that, Hitchcock dropped off his projects Just A Sample 2 and Good in 2019 and 2016, respectively.

Although Deante has several notable guest verses under his belt, there’s still one he will always have his eye on. In an interview with REVOLT from earlier this year, Deante Hitchcock shared one of his most coveted collaborations:

I want to collab with Young Thug. That’s the first celebrity feature I want. That’s my dream feature. What would it be about? I don’t know. You get a feature from Thug, you might get six different records. He’s on his melodic s**t right now, but I need either “About The Money” Thug or “Harambe” Thug.
