It’s been about a year since J Balvin dropped off his fourth studio album Colores, which boasted 10 tracks with a couple of additional appearances from Mr Eazi and Sky Rompiendo. Last month, the Colombian star made a big return with the infectious single “LOCATION” with Anuel AA and KAROL G.

Looking to keep the momentum going, this past weekend saw a new single from J Balvin titled “Ma’ G,” which sees production from Rompiendo and keeps with the theme of success and wins over detractors:

“Ey, ey, bro, yo tengo Louis Vuitton hasta la’ Crocs, haciendo money a lo nivel pro, tú recogiendo moneda’ a lo Mario Bros, gracias al que me la dio, estamo’ bien gracia’ a Dios, sin cadena y sin reloj/

Aquí la joya soy yo Y eso que no soy Dybala, estamo’ еn la buena y tú en la mala, por eso lo quе diga’ me resbala y, me la lamben, el que decía, ‘José, tú no será’ grande’/

Shot by Oscar Vasquez, the accompanying clip takes us to Medellín and keeps with the energy of the track, with shots of Balvin and a beautiful, bright-yellow whip mixed with footage of masked dancers. Balvin can also be seen handling business in a meeting with associates, proving that business and pleasure goes hand and hand for the multi-talented artist.

Prior to Colores, J Balvin teamed up with Puerto Rican star Bad Bunny for the joint LP Oasis, an eight-track effort that went eight times Platinum (RIAA Latin) thanks to roughly 500,000 album equivalent units sold. The past couple of years has also seen Balvin contributing to songs in multiple genres, including Dua Lupa’s “Un Dia (One Day)” Sech’s “Relación (Remix),” 24kGoldn’s “Mood (Remix),” and Ty Dolla $ign’s “Spicy (Remix).”
