When it comes to Latin trap, Bad Bunny is easily the genre’s current frontrunner. Last year, the Puerto Rican star dropped off three albums — YHLQMDLG, LAS QUE NO IBAN A SALIR, and EL ÚLTIMO TOUR DEL MUNDO, the last of which made landfall in November.

Inspired by today’s quarantined times, EL ÚLTIMO TOUR DEL MUNDO (or “The Last Tour of the World”) saw 16 tracks and additional features from Rosalía, Jhay Cortez, Abra, and Trío Vegabajeño. The album also earned Bad Bunny a number one placement on the Billboard 200 thanks to 116,000 album equivalent units sold during its first week out, becoming the first full Spanish-language body of work to achieve that feat — the mostly-Spanish albums, Selena’s Dreaming of You and Il Divo’s Ancora, topped the same chart in 1995 and 2006, respectively.

In addition to the music, EL ÚLTIMO TOUR DEL MUNDO also spawned some dope visuals to match for standout cuts like “DÁKITI,” “YO VISTO ASÍ,” and “HOY COBRÉ,” which saw a humorous cameo from Snoop Dogg. This past weekend, Bad Bunny added to that with a new clip for “BOOKER T,” a MAG-produced offering that sees him channeling the legendary wrestler of the same name (“Porque estoy en mi peak, estoy en mi peak, soy un rey, campeón, Booker T”).

Directed by Stillz, the video begins with a tricked-out big rig riding through the desert, after which it’s revealed that Bad Bunny and the real-life Booker T stand within its trailer, making for the majority of the clip. While he’s known for bringing together reggaeton, alternative rock, and a variety of other genres in his music, “BOOKER T” shows just how much Latin trap and hip hop are truly similar in both production and cadence.

Press play on both “BOOKER T,” as well as the aftermentioned album EL ÚLTIMO TOUR DEL MUNDO and video for “HOY COBRÉ,” below.
