Yung Bleu has been delivering high quality tunes to the masses for some years now — especially in regards to his Investments and Blue Vandross series. Then, last October brought forth the six track EP Love Scars: The 5 Stages of Emotions, which contained the breakthrough single “You’re Mines Still.” Mere weeks later, fans would see a deluxe edition of Love Scars with a few extra cuts and a remix of “You’re Mines Still” featuring Drake. Last month, the Mobile, Alabama star continued his momentum with an infectious new single titled “Ghetto Love Birds,” a Nate Rhoads-produced effort that’s filled with the emotionally charged, “heart on my sleeve” lines that Bleu has become popular for:

“Born in the heart of the ghetto, beautiful child, I’m sending all of my love ‘cause we haven’t spoke in a while, I’ve been trying to plead my case and she like, “Take it to trial,” I ain’t felt safe in a while, but I miss makin’ you smile/”

Today, Yung Bleu blesses us with another dope cut titled “Thieves In Atlanta,” a romantic collaboration with Boston-born, New Jersey-raised artist Coi Leray. As previously teased via social media, the melodic track also sees an accompanying visual that mixes love story tropes with a plot surrounding an apparent robbery.

Much like Bleu, Leray has been making serious waves in music, having already created tunes with the likes of Fetty Wap, Jacquees, Gunna, Ski Mask the Slump God, and Trippie Redd. Currently, the Alamo Records signee is sailing off the AB BABY-assisted single “No More Parties,” as well as its Lil Durk-assisted remix — both of which see her keeping things real about her family ties:

“My daddy let me down, but I promise you, I won’t let up, I wanna say fuck that man but the shit won’t make me better, me and my brother still beefin’ right now, ‘cause he ain’t get that letter…/”
