Coi Leray has risen to fame by being her authentic self, and her brand new track “No More Parties” sees her unloading her current most candid thoughts. On the track, Coi meets some somber production as she delivers a verse directly addressing family, her surroundings, and more:

They wanna eat off my plate. They wanna eat off me. When I had the vision, you couldn’t see it. I’m off to better things, I’m only doing shit that’s gon make me elevate. Only want people around that’s gonna make me better. They ask how I get that. I’m busy getting this money, counting this cheddar. My daddy let me down, but I promise you I won’t let up. I wanna say fuck that man but that shit won’t make me better. Me and my brother beefin’ right now cause he ain’t get that letter.

Right at the top of 2021, Coi Leray wasted no time getting to it. She released her “G.I. Joe” track and made sure fans got a visual to go along with it. A few days prior to that, she enjoyed her holiday by sharing her Christmas track titled “Merry Xmas” alongside Dess Dior and Maliibu Miitch. Back in August, Coi Leray dropped her EP Now or Never, and afterwards she gifted fans with the music video for the project’s intro track and fan favorite “Slide” featuring Gunna. The Now or Never project included features from Kiana Lede, Sevyn Streeter, and fellow Jersey native Fetty Wap.

In a recent interview with REVOLT Coi Leray lays out her mindset towards her career:

“As an upcoming artist, you’ve got to build. You’ve got to create a story. I’m living my life, taking my time with this s**t because you don’t want to rush anything. I want to make sure that the way I tell my story is exactly how it needs to be. As long as it needs to take, that’s what the f**k it’s going to be. The day that I do tell my story and drop the project, it’s going to fucking go crazy. I’m definitely hitting Billboard charts. I promise you that.”
