Zoey Dollaz breaks silence following shooting

“Please continue to pray for me as I go through this healing recovery & get back on my feet & back to doing what I do,” he wrote.

Zoey Dollaz is speaking out for the first time after he was shot multiple times in Miami while heading to a strip club earlier this month.

“To everybody that reached out to me, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart!” he wrote. “To everyone that sent out prayers for me, thank you because it worked! Grateful for your support & prayers — I needed them! Please continue to pray for me as I go through this healing recovery & get back on my feet & back to doing what I do.”

He continued, “Beyond grateful & lucky to be alive. It’s very hard for me to get back to everybody that reached out because it’s so many, but I want everyone to know, I am more than thankful for all the love!!!!”

On Twitter, the “Post & Delete” emcee shared images of his vehicle from the night of the shooting. In the photos, there are multiple bullet holes in the driver’s side of the car and in the windows. There is also blood splattered on the inside of the door. “God works harder than the devil for sure,” he tweeted.

Earlier this month, news surfaced about the shooting from Miami-based journalist, Tony Centeno. “My sources say Zoey is doing fine after he was shot multiple times while on his way to Booby Trap in Miami last night,” he wrote on Twitter. “My dawg [Zoey Dollaz] is a true soulja. I know he’ll pull through and recover quickly. Praying for him and his family.”

“Hopefully, he’ll be well enough to tell us what happened in his own words,” he added. Earlier that day, Zoey had attended Teyana Taylor’s birthday party.

We are continuing to pray for his speedy recovery. Check out Zoey’s full statement and images of his vehicle below.
