It’s been several months since Young T & Bugsey released their official debut project Plead The 5th, which boasted additional appearances from Aitch, Morrisson, Fredo, and Headie One — the last of whom joined the duo on their viral hit single “Don’t Rush.” the Nottingham stars eventually returned the favor, joining Headie One on his Edna standout “Princess Cuts.”

This past weekend, they made a big return with their new single “New Shape,” which is produced by Lekaa Beats and sees Young T & Bugsey living the playboy lifestyle:

“Cruise through life in a new shape, indictments came, my bitch loves blue tape, step on your turf with a screwface, fuckin’, she want it on Blu-ray, can’t stay two nights, lil’ mama, I’m choosey, sippin’ on drink and I’m woozy/

I leave the kitty in good shape, Mercedes Benz and I got it in woodgrain, Moncler hood ‘cause it could rain, go meet the runner, go Usain, we goin’ NYC, Eliantte, bust down is the new plain/”

The accompanying visual comes courtesy of KLVDR and shows Young T & Bugsey as car dealers, giving the sales pitch to various beautiful women in search of a luxury whip. They can also be seen flexing rocking furs in an SUV, performing in Monclers in the rain, and getting to work in the auto body shop, making for a lucrative day of work.

The success of the aforementioned single “Don’t Rush” can be traced to Tik Tok, a platform that’s become the launching pad for more than a few singles during this quarantined year. Universary of Hull student Toluwalase Asolo used her time stuck in doors to create the #DontRushChallenge with her friends, and the rest is history.
