Given the current state of affairs in the United States, it’s a good time to celebrate — especially following several months of chaos. For that, Casanova has connected with Ugly God to deliver a dope new cut titled “VIRGIL,” which also features an additional contribution from Duke Deuce. The effort sees the trio rapping about dances and violence over Ugly God’s booming production:

“Off-White shirt, but the shoes don’t match, do what I want, so I can’t get attached, the both of my pockets got rickity racks, yeah, she let me beat from the back, yeah, she know I’m the s***, that’s facts/

N***as act dumb, let me pull up where they at, bet he gon’ run when I ratatat tat, if I don’t got a gun, bet a n***a get slapped…/”

Directed by WillC & Tana for Streetheat Films, the clip is full of dancing from both the individual artists and their respective crews. Quarantining in New York aside, Casanova, Ugly God, and Duke Deuce throw a “tear the club up”-style shindig for the ages.

Casanova has definitely been one of the more prolific rappers this year from a music video standpoint, releasing a slew of dope clips for “So Drippy” with Young Thug and Gunna, “Knock Knock,” “Whoa” with Jeremih, “In My Hood,” “COVID 19” with Jay Glo, “Why You Lie?,” “Stress,” “Run The Town,” and “Don’t Play Games” with DMX. His debut album, Behind These Scars, was released October 2019 and boasted 10 tracks and assists from Giggs, Chris Brown, Fabolous, and more. Meanwhile, Ugly God used 2020 to team up with Rizzoo Rizzoo for the four-track UglyGoblin EP and the Quality Control-signed Duke Deuce dropped the second installment of his well-received Memphis Massacre series.
