Two stars in their own right, North London’s M Huncho and Luton’s Nafe Smallz have joined forces to release the project DNA (or Da New Age). The new body of work sees 13 tracks and a couple of assists from fellow UK peers Young Adz and Yung Bxne, who join the duo on “Cold World” and “Money Make You Change,” respectively.

One particular standout from the full-length effort is the Sean Murdz-produced “Flooded,” which shows the two artists harmonizing about their wealthy possessions and the grind is took to reach those successes:

“Take a plane, I tour the world, I came to work, my seat’s in first, dirty hands, I clean them off, I’m in the Tesla, fightin’ ‘em off, fight my demons, toe to toe, 36’s hot to go, may God forgive, but I’ma get to all of this, pedal to the metal, I don’t drive no stick/

White, brown, green, got three, take your pick, I’m gonna buy a second home for the fam, I gotta do it, we gotta make it outta here, for the guys, I’m gonna do it, b***h, it’s a must that I get right to it…/”

“Flooded” also sees a matching visual courtesy of KC Locke, and shows the well-dressed rappers flexing and performing the track in a room that seems to have a changing LED screen for a ceiling. Simple, yet very effective as far as matching the vibe of the track.

Individually, both M Huncho and Nafe Smallz have delivered well-received projects of their own this year. M Huncho drops his second studio LP Huncholini the 1st, which saw 13 tracks and features from Smallz, Headie One, and D-Block Europe. Meanwhile, his counterpart liberated the mixtape Goat World, which saw 14 cuts and assists from Huncho, Nines, Wretch 32, Chip, Miraa May, and more.
