It’s only been months since Justin Bieber released his fifth studio album Changes, which sees 16 tracks from the Canadian star and features from Quavo, Post Malone, Lil Dicky, Travis Scott, Kehlani, and more. Now, he’s said to be working on a follow-up, and has decided to reveal a new single from that forthcoming release titled “Holy,” which features Chance The Rapper and sees production from Jon Bellion, TBHits, Mr. Franks, and Jorgen Odegard. The track sees Bieber and Chance comparing their respective marriages and the love contained within them to religion:

“The way you hold me … feels so holy, they say we’re too young, the pimps and the players say don’t go crushin’, wise men say fools rush in, but I don’t know…/”

“Holy” isn’t the first time Chance The Rapper and Justin Bieber have collaborated — they’ve both worked together in the past on the tracks “Confident,” “Juke Jam,” and DJ Khaled’s “I’m The One” and “No Brainer.” Recently, Bieber has also assisted Khaled by starring in his visual to the Drake-assisted “POPSTAR.”

Justin Bieber joins a special group of pop artists who have the distinction of seeing every one of their studio LPs land at the number one spot on the Billboard 200, beginning with 2010’s My World 2.0. The aforementioned Changes managed to peak Billboard’s albums chart with 231,000 album equivalent units sold during its first week of release.

Chance The Rapper released his official debut The Big Day in 2019. That project saw a whopping 22 tracks and assists from the likes of DaBaby, Megan Thee Stallion, Gucci Mane, Lil Durk, Nicki Minaj, and his brother Taylor Bennett. The Big Day gave the Chicago artist his highest spot on Billboard, landing at number two thanks to 108,000 album equivalent units.

Press play on the cinematic visual for Justin Bieber and Chance The Rapper’s “Holy” below, directed by Colin Tilley.
