Jack Harlow has been on fire lately. Following the release of his March drop Sweet Action, DJ Drama and Don Cannon’s latest darling has been wowing the hip hop crowd with catchy tracks and top tier lyricism, proving that he’s here to stay for a while. One of the tracks from the EP, the runaway hit “WHAT POPPIN’,” has now received one hell of an upgrade thanks to added verses from DaBaby, Tory Lanez, and Lil Wayne, all of whom add to Harlow’s braggadocio with their own special blend of hard-hitting bars:

“Back with the remix, these boys all my sons like Phoenix, my city and state never ever seen this Jimmy Neutron, I’m a young boy genius/

On the futon, I’ma give her that p***s, when this s***’s done, I’ma fill up arenas, ooh, like Gilbert Arenas, shoot my shot, I’m still with the demons, ooh/

I keep it thorough, I got five chicks in New York, that means one in each borough, I’m in the pocket like Burrow, when I’m back home, though, they treat me like Robert De Niro/

Took her to Taco Bell, bought her a churro, took her home, gave her a cinnamon swirl, I left it in, now I got a one-year-old, zeros on zeros on zeros/”

The accompanying video comes courtesy of Eif Rivera, and shows the four artists killing their verses and having a blasts in various locations. Lil Wayne even takes it a step further by rapping his bars upside down — at least that’s how it’s portrayed through film magic.

Sweet Action follows a slew of well-received EPs and mixtapes, including Confetti and Loose, both of which were released under the Generation Now imprint. Since then, Jack Harlow has been proving his worth in hip hop through infectious tracks and rewind-worthy freestyles.
