Nick Cannon may have lost his partnership with ViacomCBS, but REVOLT Media & TV Chairman Sean “Diddy” Combs is interested in working on a new deal with the star.

Diddy took to Twitter to extend an invite for Cannon to bring his talents to his Black-owned media company. “@NickCannon come home to @REVOLTTV truly BLACK OWNED!!!” he tweeted. “We got your back and love you and what you have done for the culture. We are for our people first!!! For us! By US! Let’s go!!!”

On Tuesday (July 14), ViacomCBS announced that they were severing ties with the “Wild ‘N Out” creator after he was accused of making anti-Semitic comments on his “Cannon’s Class” podcast.

“ViacomCBS condemns bigotry of any kind and we categorically denounce all forms of anti-Semitism,” a company spokesperson said in a statement. “We have spoken with Nick Cannon about an episode of his podcast ‘Cannon’s Class’ on YouTube, which promoted hateful speech and spread anti-Semitic conspiracy theories.”

“While we support ongoing education and dialogue in the fight against bigotry, we are deeply troubled that Nick has failed to acknowledge or apologize for perpetuating anti-Semitism, and we are terminating our relationship with him. We are committed to doing better in our response to incidents of anti-Semitism, racism and bigotry. ViacomCBS will have further announcements on our efforts to combat hate of all kinds,” the statement concluded.

Cannon has since released a statement demanding that ViacomCBS apologizes for using this moment to “make an example out an outspoken Black man.” He also wants full ownership of “Wild ‘N Out,” which he says is a “billion dollar brand.”

“The Masked Singer” host also claims that ViacomCBS “chose to recently ban all advertisement that supported George Floyd and Breonna Taylor who we are all still seeking justice for,” and said he even reached out to Shari Redstone, ViacomCBS chair, “to have a conversation of reconciliation” and “actually apologize” if his comments offended their community.
