Released back in March, The Weeknd’s fourth studio album After Hours remains one of the biggest successes of 2020. During its first week of release, the project blasted to number one on the Billboard 200 with 444,000 album equivalent units sold. Now, The Weeknd has decided to remix the album standout “In Your Eyes” with the aid of Doja Cat.

Over The Weeknd, Oscar Holter and Max Martin’s infectious pop groove, Doja Cat delivers her melodic verse from the perspective of the female counterpart:

“I never lied when I cried for you, and I know you cried, too, you’re really nice, just couldn’t get now you’re through/

Always had to say bye to you, love the way you’re talkin’, love your style but, ooh, babe, I know that you got it for me and it’s R-E-D, too hard to see you/

Hate the way I feel love, only hurts with real love, and he’s taking every part of me, when you look, you can see love…/”

In addition to the original version of “In Your Eyes,” The Weeknd delivered dope visuals from After Hours for “Heartless,” “Blinding Lights,” and “Until I Bleed Out.” The Canadian superstar also released several remixes for other tracks from the album, enlisting help from Lil Uzi Vert, Chromatics, Oneohtrix Point Never, and more.

Recently, The Weeknd also found himself in cartoon mode, making a hilarious appearance on “American Dad.” Speaking to Variety, he spoke on why he jumped on the opportunity:

”I’m a longtime fan of the show… I’ve been watching since high school, but I really appreciated it about seven years ago. It’s been running for so long, and I feel like it has a real cult following. To really enjoy the show in its entirety, you have to really know the characters.”
