New music from Donald Glover began circulating last Sunday (March 15) via a link on social media that led users to an album on a website called DonaldGloverPresents.com. According to Pitchfork, the music was later removed. The website has also changed from previously allowing the album to play upon entering the site. A full length album titled, 3.15.20, has now been released, featuring appearances from Ariana Grande and 21 Savage.

Similar to the album title, most of the song tracks are now timestamps, which indicates where the record falls on the album. Ariana Grande’s feature on the album was confirmed in a press release.

Pitchfork reports that a “single-track version of the album is on streaming services under the artist name Donald Glover Presents.” The album is also available on DonaldGloverPresents.com, but for a limited time. The press release, as noted by Pitchfork, suggests that fans partake in a “communal vibe,” while listening to the songs together.

Shortly after Glover released the album, it began trending on social media.

Donald Glover isn’t the only artist supporting “communal vibes” through music. Swae Lee of Rae Sremmurd recently hosted an Instagram Live concert as people have been advised to practice social distancing amid the spreading of Coronavirus.

John Legend took a similar route by holding a virtual concert for fans from his home. Legend held the concert via Instagram Live in conjunction with a series of online concerts presented by Global Citizen and the World Health Organization called, “Together, at Home.”

Legend announced the concert on Monday (March 16) after Chris Martin of Coldplay performed his own virtual show on social media. “My friend Chris Martin did a lovely little concert from home today. I’ll be doing one tomorrow at 1 pm Pacific time. See you soon. We’ll try to get through this together! #TogetherAtHome.”
