Kid Cudi knows how to keep his fans entertained while they practice social distancing due to Coronavirus.

On Friday (April 10), the Ohio native previewed a new song on Instagram Live titled “Leader of the Delinquents.” Prior to debuting the snippet, Cudi went to Twitter to ensure that fans didn’t miss out on the special moment. “Alert: I’ll be live in one hour. All supporters please tune in,” he wrote. After hopping off of his live-streamed event, the 36-year-old took a moment to thank Jaden Smith, who also tuned in virtually, for his support. “Love you Jaden. [You’re the] coolest kid around,” he ended.

This isn’t the first time that Cudi has previewed new music on social media. Earlier this month, he played a snippet of an unreleased track, which fans believe might be featured on the Kids See Ghosts musician’s upcoming album, Entergalactic.

In addition to working on new music, Cudi has also used his platform to remember his late friend, Juice WRLD, who died of an accidental drug overdose in December 2019. “It hurts we never got to work together. When we met at Coachella I was surprised u were even a fan. I didn’t feel so old after all haha I got something just for u I hope u love. All for you brother. Tell my dad I said hey. Love u man,” he wrote in a heartfelt tweet posted to Twitter.

He also shared a screenshot of their text messages back in April 2018. Towards the end of their conversation, Cudi encouraged Juice to stay in touch. “Dude! So awesome finally meeting you. Let’s stay in touch, I’m running around a bit, but hopefully we can get up,” the text message read.
