Twitter was bubbling with conversation on Friday morning (Sept. 3) after the release of Drake’s long-awaited sixth studio album, Certified Lover Boy. As reported by REVOLT, the 21-song LP arrived early Friday morning boasting features from JAY-Z, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Kid Cudi, Travis Scott, 21 Savage, Lil Baby and several others, including a sampled Nicki Minaj verse.

Online, fans reacted to the album’s star-studded list of collaborators, lyrical name-drops and sounded off on their favorite tracks.

“This Drake Certified Lover Boy album is a classic already,” one person tweeted.

“Drake knows what people want/like and just delivers it over and over again,” another added.

On Twitter, several of the album’s collaborators, songs and “Aubrey” — Drake’s birth name — began to trend. By 10 a.m. EST on Friday, “Girls Like Girls,” a CLB cut featuring Lil Baby, was No. 1 on Spotify’s Top Hits chart.

Certified Lover Boy was initially expected to arrive back in January, but was postponed after Drake suffered a leg injury. The 34-year-old began ramping up his album rollout efforts late last month and officially announced the project’s release date with a cryptic stunt on SportsCenter.

Then, earlier this week, fans began noticing billboards popping up in several major cities that appeared to announce Drake’s list of CLB collaborators. As we reported, a billboard in New York promised “the goat” would be featured on the album while a Houston sign hinted at the city’s “hometown hero,” the two of which turned out to be Hov and Scott, respectively.

One billboard in Drizzy’s home city of Toronto noted Weezy’s appearance, reading, “Hey Toronto, the best rapper alive signed me in 2009 and is on CLB.” Other signs revealed the inclusion of Young Thug, Project Pat, Yebba, Lil Durk, Giveon, Ty Dolla $ign and more.
