Kanye West’s latest Gap creation is the “perfect hoodie.” Early on Wednesday morning (Sept. 29), after an ominous countdown clock disappeared on the Yeezy Gap website, Ye’s collaboration with the brand unveiled a new hoodie sweatshirt available for purchase in six colors.

According to Complex, fans eager to buy the hoodies filled out their information online before being placed in a virtual waiting room. The hoodies – which go for $90 each or $70 for kids’ sizes – will ship in two to three weeks with the exception of the black hoodie, which will be shipped in six to eight weeks.

All of the hoodies are made of 100 percent double layered cotton and mark the second release for Yeezy Gap, following the brand’s puffer jacket earlier this summer. Ye was seen sporting a red puffer coat and his own “perfect hoodie,” in blue and black, last month while promoting his Donda album.

As reported by REVOLT, Kanye inked a 10-year deal with Gap last year. Earlier this month, the rap star filed an application to trademark his name for a new homeware line, including blankets, pillowcases and towels; prompting speculation about what the next Yeezy Gap item could be.

“We’ve had a much younger customer [since the partnership],” CEO Sonia Syngal told CNN in August after the release of the Yeezy Gap puffer coat. “We’ve had 75 percent of those customers being new to the Gap brand.”

At the time of the June 2020 partnership, Gap said Kanye was “poised to disrupt retail” by making the brand popular among new audiences.

“We are excited to welcome Kanye back to the Gap family as a creative visionary, building on the aesthetic and success of his YEEZY brand and together defining a next-level retail partnership,” Mark Breitbard, Global Head of Gap Brand, said at the time.
