Kanye West has submitted a trademark application for his forthcoming Yeezy collaboration with Gap, Yeezy Gap. According to the trademark application documents, which were first reported by TMZ, the rapper’s company filed an application to trademark the logo on Tuesday (April 13).

Per the documents, the trademark logo bears a close resemblance to the initial design that Kanye shared on Twitter last year. The Yeezy Gap logo is a play on the Gap logo, which shows white letters inside a blue square with rounded edges. Instead of the word “GAP,” though, the Yeezy Gap logo would display the letters “YZY.”

Along with a look at the new logo, the documents also provide further information on what the collaborated line will offer. REVOLT previously reported that Yeezy Gap would include clothing for men, women and kids “at accessible price points,” but the documents show the brand will also offer handbags, backpacks, luggage, headwear, jackets, umbrellas and more.

According to the documents, the line will also include footwear, which was left out of Kanye and Gap’s initial announcement.

“We are excited to welcome Kanye back to the Gap family as a creative visionary, building on the aesthetic and success of his Yeezy brand and together defining a next-level retail partnership,” Mark Breitbard, the Global Head of Gap Brand, said in a press release at the time.

Yeezy Gap is expected to begin rolling out products within the first half of this year. The two parties signed a 10-year partnership deal last June with the option to renew after five years. The companies also have high expectations for the brand, with Gap projecting the line will earn $1 billion annually within the first five years.

“I spoke to Yeezy last night and he’s very, very focused on this incredible opportunity,” Gap’s chief executive officer Sonia Syngal said earlier this month.
