Unfortunately, more than a year into the pandemic, COVID-19 diagnoses are still a thing. DJ Khaled and his family are among the many that recently contracted the virus, but thanks to God, they have all recovered and are now survivors. Over the weekend, Khaled took to Instagram to thank God and his doctors for his family’s recovery. He also shouted out all those who sent well wishes his way as they got better.

“Fanluv, all our friends and family,” read an image followed by pictures and videos of him, his wife Nicole Tuck and their two sons, four-year-old Asahd and eight-month-old Aalam.

“Thank you for your calls and prayers! My family and I recovered from COVID, and we’re all good now! God is the greatest! God loves us and we love God!”

He further expresseed his gratitude in the caption of the post. “Thank you, grateful for all the love grateful for everyone checking in on my family and I! Please be safe out there! Please take care of yourself,” Khaled wrote. “Thank you to DOCTORS, thank you Dovi thank you to my Queen, thank you Rosa, thank you to my WE THE BEST team, my management ROC NATION and my partners at EPIC RECORDS for holding me up while me and my family focused on recovery.”

With rising Delta variant cases and the emergence of the Lambda variant, government and business officials around the country are now taking cautionary measures to limit the spread of COVID-19. As of today (Aug. 16), New Yorkers interested in participating in most indoor activities must provide proof of vaccinations. Live Nation will also require that employees, artists and concertgoers show that they’re fully vaccinated in order to gain access to their events. The company’s new policy, however, will go into effect on Oct. 4.
