The person who tweeted about Kanye possibly relocating says his Twitter account was hacked.

So it looks like Kanye West won’t be relocating to finish his Donda album after all, at least, according to the person whose Twitter account started that rumor in the first place.

In a series of tweets he posted on Monday night (Aug. 9), KayCyy claimed that his tweet about Kanye leaving Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium for another stadium were false, blaming the tweets on hackers.

“You hackers gotta stop,” he wrote. In subsequent, since-deleted tweets, he wrote: “4 of my tweets were hacks … I will not be on twitter anymore for the rest of the week.”

In another since-deleted tweet, he wrote: “We moving to another stadium’ is a cap.” So, there goes that.

KayCyy has been working with Kanye as the Chicago artist has been putting together his latest LP. Yesterday, KayCyy posted a series of semi-cryptic tweets about the making of the new album, and in one of those tweets, he said “we moving to another stadium.”

KayCyy’s tweets were just the latest bit of speculation to swirl around Kanye’s presumably soon-to-be-released album. After its missed two release dates, there’s no concrete idea of when it will actually hit streaming services.

The project is one Yeezy has been rearranging for a while now. Since premiering it during the first listening party in Mercedes-Benz Stadium last month, he’s added multiple features, with people like The LOX and Fivio Foreign making their way to his stadium studio setup to do some recording. Artists like JAY-Z, The Weeknd, Lil Baby, Jadakiss, Lil Durk and many more are featured on the new project. Based on his history of revising and expanding upon albums, it’s probably safe to assume the LP will continue to get changes until the very last minute—and even after that. Fans will just have to wait and see what Kanye’s got in mind regarding both the release and the composition of his new LP.
